T. Gordy Alam, MD is Board Certified in Gastroenterology by the American College of Internal Medicine. His practice covers all areas of Digestive Diseases and Liver problems.

Dr. Alam received his MD and Ph.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas in 1995. After completing his Residency in Internal Medicine, he completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans.

An area resident for more than 25 years, Dr. Alam prides himself on providing personal interaction and compassionate care to his patients. He is dedicated to improving his patient’s health and helping them lead more fulfilling lives by building long-term relationships and providing comprehensive and specialized care.

Allison Tate, FNP-C is an advanced practice registered nurse and certified family nurse practitioner.

Allison completed her Bachelor of Science in Health from Texas A&M University in 2012. Shortly after, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. After working as a registered nurse for over 5 years in acute care and earning her Masters of Science from Texas Women’s University in the Houston medical center, she joined on with Dr. Alam and has been focused on treating and educating patients in the gastroenterology field.
