Colonoscopy
Your provider may order a colonoscopy for the following reasons:
- Investigate intestinal signs and symptoms
- Screen for colon cancer
- Look for polyps
In patients with no gastrointestinal (GI) problems and no risk factors for colon cancer, the American Cancer Society recommends a first screening colonoscopy at 45.
EGD
EGD is an endoscopic procedure that allows your doctor to examine your esophagus, stomach and duodenum (part of your small intestine). EGD is an outpatient procedure, meaning you can go home that same day. It takes approximately 30 to 60 minutes to perform.
ERCP
Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is a procedure that combines upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy and x-rays to treat problems of the bile and pancreatic ducts.
Our providers also evaluate and treat the following gastrointestinal conditions:

- Rectal Bleeding
- Other GI Bleeding
